Odisha Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida will attend the 44th India International Trade Fair (IITF) in New Delhi today and inaugurate the Odisha Pavilion at Bharat Mandapam.
The fair, themed Ek Bharat-Shreshtha Bharat, runs from November 14 to 27.
Organisers expect nearly 60,000 visitors daily at the venue. Authorities have introduced multi-layered checks, enhanced surveillance, and traffic restrictions to manage the crowd. The Odisha Pavilion highlights the state’s rich heritage, art, culture, and traditions, underlining its contribution to national growth.
Parida’s participation reflects Odisha’s commitment to promoting its identity on national platforms. The pavilion offers visitors a glimpse into the state’s crafts, tourism potential, and cultural diversity. Odisha’s presence at IITF strengthens its image as a hub of tradition and modern development.
On November 15, Parida will travel to Bengaluru for a two-day trip. She will participate in Odisha Parba, an event organised by the Odisha Tourism Department. The program aims to showcase Odisha’s tourism and cultural heritage to audiences outside the state.
The trade fair remains one of India’s largest annual events, bringing together states, industries, and international participants. Odisha’s active involvement demonstrates its focus on cultural promotion and economic opportunities.
Parida’s dual engagements in New Delhi and Bengaluru highlight Odisha’s strategy to expand its cultural footprint and attract tourism. Both events provide platforms to connect with diverse audiences and strengthen the state’s visibility across India.
