The President of India has officially accepted the resignation of Shri Raghubar Das as the Governor of Odisha. Dr. Hari Babu Kambhampati, the current Governor of Mizoram, is appointed as the new Governor of Odisha.
The President of India is also pleased to make the following appointments of Governors:-
General (Dr.) Vijay Kumar Singh, PVSM, AVSM, YSM (Retd.), will assume the role of Governor of Mizoram.
Shri Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar, the sitting Governor of Bihar, is now appointed as the Governor of Kerala.
Arif Mohammed Khan, who has served as the Governor of Kerala, is appointed as the Governor of Bihar.
Ajay Kumar Bhalla is named as the new Governor of Manipur.
The above appointments will take effect from the dates they will assume charge of their respective offices, read a press communique from the Office of Press Secretary to the President.

- Born on June 15, 1953, in Timmasamudram Village, Prakasam District, Andhra Pradesh.
- Married to Smt Jayashree with two daughters, Smt Chetana and Smt Chandana, and grandchildren Chukapalli Arnina and Chukapalli Arnav.
Education
- BTech in Electronics & Communications Engineering from Andhra University.
- ME in Electrical & Control Systems from Andhra University.
- PhD in Control Systems from Andhra University.
Professional Career:
- Worked as an Associate Professor for 24 years at Andhra University Engineering College.
Political Career:
- Participated in the Jai Andhra Movement in 1972.
- Served in various roles within the Janata Party and BJP, including Andhra Pradesh State Executive Member, State General Secretary, and National Secretary.
- Elected to Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly in 1999 and the 16th Lok Sabha in 2014.
- Held positions in several parliamentary committees and task forces.
Current Position:
- Appointed as Governor of Mizoram on July 6, 2021.
