The Odisha Government appointed Dr Abinash Rout as Personal Secretary to Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida, who heads the Women and Child Development, Mission Shakti, and Tourism departments.
The General Administration and Public Grievance Department issued the order on March 19, 2024.
Dr Rout had been serving as Additional Secretary in the Mission Shakti Department. His elevation to Personal Secretary reflects the government’s focus on strengthening administrative leadership in key social and developmental sectors. Mission Shakti, a flagship program of Odisha, has played a vital role in empowering women through self-help groups and grassroots initiatives.
