Cuttack: Police have arrested a person for allegedly stealing electrical appliances from a house in Silver City, Cuttack. The accused has been identified as Guda Gochayat of Mathasahi area in the locality.
Reportedly, the matter came to for after one Dharma Nayak notice the broken lock of his house, and an induction heater and a mixer grinder were missing. Following this, Dharma lodged a theft case with the local police station.
Acting on the complaint, police registered a case and arrested the accused in this connection. The cops also recovered the stolen items from his possession.
A case was registered about the same and the accused has been forwarded to court, police said.
