Bhubaneswar: Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) Ananta Narayan Jena distributed groceries and financial aid for servitors in view of their economic hardship due to the closure of the temples following a surge in Covid case.
Reportedly, the priests of the temples under Bhubaneswar constituency including wards no-36, 37, 38, and 39 were provided dry groceries and some financial aid.
Notably, priests relying on the offerings made by the devotees to make a living. But lockdown has affected them as temples are closed
