Cuttack: A man died after the “manja” string of a kite slit his throat at Pirbazaar area under Jagatpur Police Station in Cuttack district today.
According to reports, the man, whose identity is yet to be ascertained, was driving a two-wheeler and his wife was on the pillion seat. A kite string that was hanging on the road got strangled around his neck.
Following the incident, the victim sustained serious injuries and died on the spot.
Soon after the incident, the family members of the deceased lodged complaint at Jagatpur Police Station in this regard, said sources.
