A severe cold wave continues to grip large parts of Odisha, with residents experiencing harsh early-morning conditions and limited relief from the biting chill. The cold spell remains particularly intense across southern, western and interior districts, where minimum temperatures have stayed consistently low.
According to weather officials, no significant change in night temperatures is expected over the next six to seven days, indicating that cold conditions are likely to persist across the state.
G Udayagiri Coldest at 4.2°C
During the past 24 hours, G Udayagiri recorded the lowest minimum temperature in Odisha at 4.2 degrees Celsius. As many as 12 cities across the state reported minimum temperatures below 10 degrees Celsius, underscoring the intensity of the cold wave.
