Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi is set to begin a four-day official visit to New Delhi starting today, with a packed agenda that includes attending the prestigious SEMICON India 2025 conference and holding strategic meetings with central government leaders.
Majhi will participate in the fourth edition of SEMICON India, scheduled from September 2 to 4 at Yashobhoomi, the capital’s state-of-the-art convention center. The event is expected to bring together global semiconductor industry leaders, policymakers, and innovators.
In addition to the conference, the Chief Minister is likely to meet Union Ministers and senior BJP leaders to discuss organizational matters in Odisha. Sources indicate that the discussions may include filling six vacant ministerial positions and several corporation chairperson posts that have remained unoccupied for over a year.
The visit is seen as a crucial step in strengthening Odisha’s political and industrial roadmap, with Majhi expected to advocate for greater central support and investment in the state’s development initiatives.
