Chief Minister Mohan Majhi is personally hearing public grievances today at the Chief Minister’s Grievance Cell in Unit-2, Bhubaneswar.
The Jan Abhiyog Sunani Programme, held regularly three to four times a month, allows citizens to directly present complaints before the CM.
Cabinet ministers and senior officials are present during the hearings, ensuring quick decisions and faster resolution of issues. Special priority is given to differently-abled persons, senior citizens, and patients with serious illnesses, many of whom receive immediate assistance during the hearing itself.
Since its launch in July 2024 after the BJP government came to power, the programme has seen participation from more than 56,000 citizens. Around 95 per cent of grievances raised during hearings have been resolved. Additionally, over 1.49 lakh complaints were received through online portals and postal services, with nearly 88 per cent already disposed of.
