Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) General Anil Chauhan and Secretary, Department of Military Affairs, formally released the declassified versions of the Joint Doctrines for Cyberspace Operations and Amphibious Operations during the Chiefs of Staff Committee meeting held in New Delhi.
The release marks a significant step toward enhancing operational transparency, interoperability, and strategic preparedness across the tri-services. These doctrines provide a unified framework for executing joint military operations in critical domains.
🛡️ Cyberspace Operations Doctrine The Joint Doctrine for Cyberspace Operations outlines a cohesive strategy to safeguard national cyber interests. It integrates offensive and defensive capabilities, promotes real-time intelligence sharing, and emphasises threat-informed planning and resilience across the Army, Navy, and Air Force.
🌊 Amphibious Operations Doctrine The Amphibious Operations Doctrine defines the blueprint for seamless coordination among maritime, air, and land forces during amphibious missions. It focuses on rapid response, joint force application, and operational influence ashore.
📘 Future-Ready Warfare General Chauhan also announced the development of new doctrines in emerging domains such as Military Space Operations, Special Forces, Airborne/Heliborne missions, Integrated Logistics, and Multi-Domain Operations. These initiatives aim to establish a common lexicon and planning framework for modern warfare.
