A woman was killed on Monday after being attacked by a bull in the Bermuda area near the Mancheswar police station in Bhubaneswar.
Reports indicate that the woman was injured in the attack on Sunday and was quickly taken to the hospital, where she unfortunately died during treatment on Monday morning.
Local residents have expressed their frustration, claiming that the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation has failed to address the ongoing bull problem despite numerous requests for a permanent solution.
In response to the woman’s death, community members took to the streets, blocking roads and participating in a sit-in protest, demanding lasting measures to tackle the issue and seeking compensation for the victim’s family. It’s also noteworthy that five others were injured in a bull attack just the previous week.
