Jammu: The Border Security Force (BSF) has asked the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) to bring the prototype anti-drone system to Jammu and Punjab sectors for testing under real conditions. The anti-drone system was tested successfully under controlled conditions at a DRDO facility before BSF officials and security agencies in Karnataka’s Kolar earlier this month.
On the other hand, the drone shot down around six kilometres inside the Indian border in the Kanachak area of Jammu and Kashmir has been identified as a Hexacopter.
As per the Jammu and Kashmir Police, approximately 5 kg of explosives have been recovered from the Hexacopter.
Earlier today, the Jammu and Kashmir Police informed that a drone was shot down in the Kanachak area and explosive material was recovered.
