A violent bomb attack linked to a land dispute shocked Kalapadar village under Kanas block in Pipili, Puri district. Consequently, two people suffered serious injuries in the incident.
Initially, a quarrel erupted between two groups over land ownership. Soon after, attackers hurled bombs during the clash, and the explosion left two individuals critically injured. Afterwards, locals rushed the victims to the hospital for immediate treatment.
Meanwhile, police arrived at the spot quickly after receiving information. They launched an investigation and detained one accused for questioning. Furthermore, officers confirmed that additional inquiries are underway to identify others involved.
As a result of the attack, panic spread across the locality. Residents voiced concern over the increasing violence in land-related disputes. In response, police tightened security in the area and stepped up surveillance to prevent further escalation.
