In the wake of the devastating terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, which claimed the lives of at least 26 civilians, several Bollywood celebrities have voiced their grief, outrage, and solidarity with the victims’ families.

Actor Akshay Kumar expressed his horror on X, writing, “Horrified to know of the terror attack on tourists in Pahalgam. Sheer evil to kill innocent people like this. Prayers for their families.”

Vicky Kaushal took to Instagram to share his sorrow, stating, “Can’t imagine the pain of the family members who lost their loved ones in the absolutely inhumane act of terrorism in Pahalgam. My deepest condolences and prayers.”

Janhvi Kapoor, visibly shaken, said she was “at a loss for words” after hearing the news.

Sidharth Malhotra, currently filming Param Sundari in Kerala, condemned the violence, saying, “The terrorist attack in Pahalgam on innocent civilians is a cowardly act. I have full faith in our armed forces to ensure justice. My prayers and thoughts are with the families of the victims. Jai Hind!”

Filmmaker Karan Johar also reacted on Instagram by resharing a post from journalist Faye D’Souza, adding, “This is heartbreaking… Prayers to the families and loved ones of the innocent lives lost in this heinous attack.”

Actor Sanjay Dutt didn’t hold back, calling for a strong response: “They killed our people in cold blood. This can’t be forgiven… I request our Prime Minister, Home Minister, and Defence Minister to give them what they deserve.”

Meanwhile, actress Hina Khan, who is currently in Kashmir, posted on Instagram Stories, “Pahalgam… Why… Why.”

The unified response from the film industry echoes the nationwide sentiment of grief, anger, and a demand for justice in the aftermath of one of the deadliest attacks on civilians in recent times.
