Bigg Boss season 19 began with a glitzy premiere hosted by Salman Khan, and one contestant has already managed to grab headlines. Entrepreneur and influencer Tanya Mittal revealed that she has carried over 800 sarees into the house, planning to change into three sarees a day throughout her stay.
“I am not leaving my luxuries behind. Along with jewellery and accessories, I’ve packed more than 800 sarees. Every day, I will be wearing three different sarees,” Tanya said.
Apart from her wardrobe choices, Tanya also created buzz with her claims about her personal security. “My bodyguards once saved 100 people during the Kumbh Mela, even police. We’ve always had security in the family, so walking with PSOs is a habit,” she remarked.
The season’s theme, “Gharwalon Ki Sarkaar,” gives contestants the power to take collective decisions, adding a new twist to the format. Contestants this year include Ashnoor Kaur, Zeishan Quadri, Awez Darbar, Nehal Chudasama, Gaurav Khanna, Amaal Mallik and others. Farhana Bhatt became the first housemate to be eliminated on the opening night.
Bigg Boss 19 is streaming daily on JioHotstar (9 pm) and airs on Colors TV (10:30 pm).
