Traffic on the National Highway near Jaydev Vihar in Bhubaneswar came to a standstill when a goods-laden vehicle suddenly overturned on the busy NH, scattering bundles of cargo and sacks across the road and disrupting traffic on one side of the highway.
Quick police intervention helped restore order as officers used cranes to remove the overturned vehicle, cleared the spilt cargo, and gradually normalised traffic.
Investigations into the accident are ongoing, though no serious casualties have been reported. This incident highlights how easily minor disruptions on Bhubaneswar’s arterial highway can cause major traffic jams.
