In a heartbreaking incident, a balcony of an old apartment building collapsed onto a small asbestos-roofed room in Buxi Bazar, Cuttack, resulting in the tragic deaths of three individuals, including a five-year-old child.
The unfortunate accident occurred near Manisahu Chhak, causing widespread shock and grief in the community.
The victims, who were from the same family, were identified as Abdul Mujahid (5), Abdul Jalil, and Abdul Jahid. They were immediately rushed to SCB Medical College and Hospital (SCBMCH) for medical attention, but tragically, they were declared dead upon arrival. The two other individuals who were injured in the collapse remain in critical condition and are currently being treated at the hospital.
