A serious allegation has surfaced in Kendrapara district against an Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) of the Aul police station. Several women have accused the officer of misconduct and physical assault, filing a formal complaint at the station.

The incident has sparked widespread discussion in the area and raised concerns for the police department. According to the complainants, the ASI allegedly behaved inappropriately and physically attacked some women.

Following the incident, a group of women gathered at the Aul police station and submitted a written complaint. They also presented their grievances before the media, stating that the officer’s actions caused them deep distress and demanding justice.

Eyewitnesses reported that many women were present at the station during the complaint submission, reflecting the seriousness of the matter.

Police sources confirmed that an investigation has begun under the direction of the Kendrapara Superintendent of Police (SP). If the allegations are proven true, strict disciplinary action will be taken, including possible suspension of the ASI.

The case has triggered debate over police conduct and women’s safety in the state. Women’s organisations are expected to intervene, adding pressure on authorities to ensure accountability.

The investigation remains ongoing, and the outcome is awaited by both the complainants and the wider public.
