Australia has announced its 15-member Under-19 squad for the upcoming home series against India, set to begin on September 21 in Mackay.
Notably, the team features two players of Indian origin—Aryan Sharma from Victoria and Yash Deshmukh from New South Wales—highlighting the growing multicultural representation in Australian cricket.
The series will be the first assignment for Tim Nielsen as head coach of the U-19 side. Nielsen previously led the senior Australian men’s team from 2007 to 2011. The squad includes five players from New South Wales and will play five matches across formats until October 10.
