Union Home Minister Amit Shah inaugurated a national dialogue on Self-Empowerment through Inner Awakening for security forces personnel at Abu Road, Rajasthan, organised by the Brahma Kumari Sansthan.
The event aimed to promote inner peace and stress management for security personnel through yoga and meditation.
Shah praised the Brahma Kumari Sansthan for its global efforts in spreading Indian culture and spirituality. He emphasised the significance of mental and emotional well-being among security personnel, acknowledging their sacrifices in safeguarding the nation.
The Home Minister also highlighted India’s economic rise, stating that India is on track to become the third-largest economy soon and aims to lead globally by 2047. He linked spirituality and ancient Indian traditions to national progress, citing PM Narendra Modi’s initiative of International Yoga Day as an example of India’s contributions to global peace.
The Brahma Kumari Sansthan, founded by Lekhraj Kripalani, has been working for the past 25 years to support security personnel in stress reduction and inner awakening. The event also marked the launch of the organisation’s theme for 2025-26, Meditation for World Unity and World Faith, reinforcing India’s commitment to peace and unity.
