Union Home Minister Amit Shah attended the 57th Raising Day celebrations of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) at Mundali in Cuttack today.
He arrived at the CISF camp and received a ceremonial salute during the parade.
The event marked a significant occasion for the CISF, which plays a crucial role in safeguarding vital installations across the country. Shah interacted with CISF personnel and praised their dedication to national security. CISF Director General Praveer Ranjan joined the programme along with senior officials.
Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi and Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan also participated in the ceremony. Their presence underscored the importance of the event and highlighted the cooperation between the state and central leadership in strengthening security infrastructure.
The Raising Day celebrations included a grand parade, cultural performances, and demonstrations showcasing the force’s operational capabilities. Shah’s participation as the chief guest added prominence to the occasion.
The CISF camp at Mundali hosted the event with elaborate arrangements. Security was tightened in and around the venue to ensure the smooth conduct of the programme.
