In a heartfelt tribute to Mata Karma’s enduring influence, the Department of Posts, Government of India, released a commemorative postage stamp during an event in Raipur.
The stamp, which beautifully depicts Mata Karma offering khichdi to Lord Krishna with the Jagannath Temple in the background, honors her spiritual devotion and contributions to social reform.
The ceremony marked the 1009th birth anniversary of Mata Karma, with dignitaries including Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai and Union Minister Tokhan Sahu in attendance.
