The team behind the National Award-winning Odia film Lahari, led by producer Jhilik Bhattacharjee, paid a courtesy visit to the Governor of Odisha, Dr. Hari Babu Kambhampati, at Lok Bhavan on Wednesday.
During the interaction, the Governor congratulated the team on securing national recognition for the film. Describing the achievement as a matter of immense pride for Odisha, he lauded the combined efforts of the cast and crew and wished them continued success in their upcoming creative endeavors.
Governor Kambhampati encouraged filmmakers to focus on producing meaningful, high-impact cinema. He highlighted the role of movies as a powerful medium for driving positive change and inspiring the youth, while praising the team’s contribution toward elevating Odia cinema on the national stage.
