In a significant breakthrough in the Komna land fraud case, police have arrested three brokers allegedly involved in the scam.
The accused have been identified as Santosh Kumar Duria, son of Bhagataram Duria of Pendraban village under Komna police limits; Ramlal Panda, son of Keshab Prasad Panda of Korangamal village under Boden police limits; and Jaxson Bag, son of Charan Bag of Dato village under Boden police limits.
According to police sources, the trio’s involvement surfaced during the ongoing investigation into the widespread land forgery racket. They were taken into custody and will be produced in court today.
Earlier, several others had already been arrested in connection with the case. Police continue to investigate the full network behind the land fraud, which has triggered widespread concern in the region.
