Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Majhi and Deputy Chief Ministers Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo and Pravati Parida took to X (formerly Twitter) to extend heartfelt greetings on the occasion of Utkal Divas.

CM Majhi paid tribute to Odisha’s founding fathers, acknowledging their sacrifices in shaping the state’s identity. Deputy CM Singh Deo highlighted Odisha’s rich heritage and resilient people, while Deputy CM Parida remembered the heroes who fought for a separate Odisha. All three leaders called for unity and collective resolve to build a prosperous and developed state.

CM Mohan Majhi’s message read:

“Greetings and best wishes to everyone on the occasion of Odisha Day. A humble tribute to the great men who made immense sacrifices for the formation of a separate Odisha state and enhanced the glory of our language, literature, and culture. On this day, let us further strengthen our resolve to build a healthy and developed Odisha.”

Deputy CM KV Singh Deo wrote:

“Wishing everyone a joyous Utkal Divas! Today, we honour the indomitable spirit, timeless heritage, and unmatched resilience of our beloved Odisha. From the sacred shores of Puri to the majestic peaks of the Eastern Ghats, our land is a tapestry of culture, courage, and progress. May we continue to script new chapters of glory while upholding the legacy of our forebears. Jai Jagannath!”

Deputy CM Pravati Parida tweeted:

“Heartiest greetings and congratulations to all Odia brothers and sisters on the occasion of Utkal Divas. On this occasion, I pay my humble tribute to the great heroes of the creation of a special Utkal state. Let us all resolve to build a prosperous Odisha.”

The celebrations across the state were marked by cultural events, flag hoisting, and tributes, reaffirming Odisha’s commitment to its legacy and future progress.
