Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi convened an industry roundtable with representatives of the Bureau of Middle East Recycling (BMR) Association and the JSW Group, highlighting Odisha’s strong metals and manufacturing ecosystem.
The discussion centred on metal recycling, circular economy, resource efficiency, and value‑added manufacturing. CM Majhi invited investors to explore opportunities in secondary aluminium and steel, advanced material recovery, and circular‑economy technologies.
The roundtable also explored avenues for technology collaboration and adoption of sustainable industrial practices, aimed at building a globally competitive recycling ecosystem in Odisha.
The Chief Minister emphasised Odisha’s vision of positioning itself as a hub for responsible industrial growth, combining traditional strengths in metals with modern approaches to sustainability and global competitiveness.
