The Puri Police have released a comprehensive traffic advisory for two‑wheelers ahead of the Bahuda Yatra and Sunabesha 2026, outlining designated routes and parking zones for visitors entering the pilgrim town from Brahmagiri, Bhubaneswar, and Konark sides.
According to the advisory, vehicles from the Brahmagiri side will be allowed up to Old Jagannath Ballav Parking and Mattiota Playground Parking via Mangalaghat. Riders can also park at Mattiota Helipad Ground through Mangalaghat and Shreesetu.
Two‑wheelers from the Bhubaneswar side will be permitted up to Old Jagannath Ballav Parking and Mattiota Playground Parking via Malatipatapur, Batagaon, and Mangalaghat. Overflow vehicles will be directed to Mattiota Helipad Ground, with return routes clearly marked through Shreesetu and Malatipatapur.
For those arriving from the Konark side, parking will be available at Blue Flag Beach and Nilachal Ashok Parking via Grid Station Chhak, Bhudan Chhak, Talabania, CT Road, and Subash Bose Square.
The advisory aims to streamline vehicular movement during the high‑footfall period of the Bahuda Yatra (return journey of the chariots) and the Sunabesha (Golden Attire of the deities), ensuring safety and convenience for devotees.
