A shocking murder unfolded in Sundaragada district when a youth was killed while trying to mediate a domestic dispute.
Police reported that Kandarp Dehuri and his wife engaged in a heated quarrel at Mayabahal Dehuripada under Talsara police limits. Fearing for her safety, the woman fled to neighbour Hemant Nayak’s house. Kandarp followed her, sparking another confrontation. Hemant and his family intervened, calmed the situation, and sent the couple away.
Later that night, around 11 PM, Kandarp returned armed with a sharp weapon. He attacked Hemant outside his house, striking his head. Hemant died instantly from the fatal blow.
Talsara Police rushed to the scene, recovered the body, and arrested Kandarp. Officers sent the body for a postmortem and initiated further investigation.
