Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi announced that the Odisha Government will mark its two‑year completion with a grand public meeting in Rairangpur, Mayurbhanj district, on June 20.
President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the event, which will feature the inauguration and foundation laying of several key projects for the state.
Majhi chaired a high‑level meeting Majhiat Lok Seva Bhawan in Bhubaneswar to review arrangements for the celebration. He directed officials to ensure robust security measures, adequate facilities for attendees, and proper parking arrangements at the venue. He emphasised the smooth execution of the program , given the presence of both the President and Prime Minister.
Officials informed that multiple development projects will be inaugurated and foundation stones laid during the event. The Chief Minister stressed that the occasion should reflect Odisha’s progress and the government’s commitment to public welfare.
Chief Secretary Anu Garg, Development Commissioner D.K. Singh, Additional Chief Secretary (Home) Hemant Sharma, and Additional Chief Secretary to CM Shashwat Mishra attended the meeting.
The Rairangpur event will serve as a major milestone in Odisha’s governance journey, highlighting two years of administrative achievements and development initiatives.
