Popular Jatra actor Rudra Narayan Mishra sustained serious injuries after a truck rammed his car near Nalanga in Bhadrak on Friday morning.
Around 10 a.m., Rudra was travelling in his car when a speeding truck hit the vehicle from behind. The impact caused severe head injuries. Family members and friends rushed to Bhadrak Medical College after learning about the accident. Doctors admitted him in critical condition and ordered a CT scan to assess the extent of damage.
Doctors confirmed that Rudra’s health requires close monitoring. His head injury remains serious, and specialists are keeping a sharp watch on his condition. Hospital sources said his treatment continues under emergency care.
The truck driver fled the scene after the collision. Bhadrak Rural Police registered a case and launched an investigation. Officers confirmed that efforts are underway to trace the vehicle and identify the driver.
