Chennai Super Kings (CSK) unveiled their new jersey for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 season on Sunday, sharing the fresh design through a video on Instagram.
The five‑time champions captioned the reveal: “ALL‑NEW AND ALL FOR YOU! Order the CSK Jersey 2026 and let your summer be filled with Yellove!”
The jersey launch marks a new chapter for CSK after a disappointing IPL 2025 campaign, where the team managed only four wins in 14 matches and finished at the bottom of the points table. Determined to bounce back, the franchise made major squad changes ahead of IPL 2026. Ravindra Jadeja and Sam Curran moved out in high‑profile trades, while wicketkeeper‑batter Sanju Samson joined the side to strengthen batting depth and leadership.
Legendary captain MS Dhoni, now 44, will feature in another season. Dhoni scored 196 runs in IPL 2025 and resumed captaincy duties when Ruturaj Gaikwad missed matches due to injury, reaffirming his leadership value.
CSK also invested heavily in young talent. Dewald Brevis, Ayush Mhatre, and Urvil Patel impressed last season with fearless batting, offering hope for the future. At the auction, CSK signed uncapped players Prashant Veer and Kartik Sharma for ₹14.20 crore each, setting records as the most expensive uncapped buys in IPL history.
