Batting first, the Black Caps posted 168/7, with Mitchell Santner (47 off 26) and Rachin Ravindra (32 off 22) leading the charge. Sri Lanka’s Maheesh Theekshana and Dushmantha Chameera kept the innings in check with three wickets apiece.
