A fire broke out behind Fortune Tower in Bhubaneswar on Wednesday afternoon, triggering panic in the area.
According to reports, flames engulfed fibre pipes and a water tank belonging to a construction company located at the rear side of the tower. The fire spread rapidly, producing thick smoke and alarming nearby residents and office-goers.
Fire service teams rushed to the spot and immediately began efforts to control the blaze. Officials said the flames were intense, but firefighters worked continuously to prevent the fire from spreading further.
Authorities stated that the exact cause of the fire is yet to be determined. Investigators are examining whether electrical faults, negligence, or other factors may have triggered the incident.
