Fresh controversy erupted in Bhubaneswar after YouTuber Tapi Mishra allegedly posted derogatory comments against Dr. B.R. Ambedkar on social media.
The incident sparked outrage among several SC/ST organisations, which lodged a formal complaint at the Capital Police Station.
According to reports, Mishra posted a photo of Ambedkar accompanied by objectionable and insulting comments. Organisations accused him of mocking the architect of the Indian Constitution and demanded immediate action.
Leaders of the United SC/ST organisations submitted a written complaint, urging police to arrest Mishra within 48 hours. They warned that failure to act would lead to protests, including gherao of the police station and the Commissioner’s office.
This is not the first time Mishra has faced criticism. He has previously posted controversial content on social media, drawing sharp reactions from different quarters.
As of now, neither Mishra nor the police have issued any official statement regarding the case. The matter remains under investigation, while community leaders continue to press for strict legal action.
