The Chief Election Commissioner of India, Gyanesh Kumar, will embark on a three-day official tour of Odisha beginning December 27.
On Saturday, December 27, Shri Kumar will visit Puri to offer prayers at the sacred Shree Jagannath Temple. Following this, he will proceed to the world-renowned Konark Sun Temple.
On Sunday, December 28, his itinerary includes visits to Odisha’s cultural and historical landmarks: the heritage village Raghurajpur, the Dhauli Shanti Stupa, the Khandagiri and Udayagiri caves, and the Mukteswar Temple.
On Monday, December 29, at 3:00 PM, Shri Kumar will preside over a meeting with Booth Level Officers (BLOs) at the auditorium of the Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology (OUAT) in Bhubaneswar. He will address the gathering before concluding his tour. Later that night, he is scheduled to depart from Bhubaneswar.
