The Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) announces the sale of 23,000 tickets and the distribution of 18,400 complimentary passes for the India–South Africa T-20 clash at Barabati Stadium.

Out of these, fans can buy 2,000 tickets online, while counters will sell the rest on December 5.

OCA Secretary Sanjay Behera announces a seating cut of 2,000, which allows 42,000 spectators to enjoy the high-voltage encounter. He stresses that strict arrangements will stop disorder, recalling the chaos during the last match when heavy crowds created confusion at counters.

OCA guarantees an uninterrupted power supply after the blackout in the previous match. Officials introduce special measures to ensure smooth operations during the upcoming clash and reinforce their commitment to better management.

Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi receives his ticket directly from OCA President Pankaj Lochan Mohanty and Secretary Sanjay Behera. OCA representatives also visit the Puri Jagannath Temple, where they offer the first ticket to Lord Jagannath and seek blessings for India’s victory.

Fans eagerly await the December 9 showdown as India faces South Africa at Barabati. Organisers highlight improved ticketing and stronger security measures to deliver a seamless experience for cricket lovers.

The ticket prices have been fixed across different galleries and enclosures:

  • Gallery 1 & 3: Rs 1,100
  • Gallery 2 & 4: Rs 900
  • Gallery 5: Rs 1,200
  • Gallery 7: Rs 700
  • Special Enclosure: Rs 6,000
  • AC Box: Rs 8,000
  • New Pavilion: Rs 10,000
  • Corporate Box: Rs 20,000
