Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw has reviewed the preparedness of the Indian Railways to ensure passenger safety and minimise disruptions ahead of the approaching Cyclone Ditwah.
The review focused on safeguarding travellers, strengthening emergency response mechanisms, and maintaining essential services during the cyclone’s impact.
Officials highlighted measures including real-time monitoring, deployment of emergency teams, and coordination with state authorities to mitigate risks. The Railways assured that contingency plans are in place to protect passengers and reduce service interruptions.
