The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the squad for the upcoming IDFC First Bank three-match ODI series against South Africa.
KL Rahul will captain the side, with Rishabh Pant joining as wicketkeeper. Senior stars Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli return to the lineup alongside promising youngsters Yashasvi Jaiswal and Tilak Varma.
The squad also features all-rounders Washington Sundar and Ravindra Jadeja, while Kuldeep Yadav leads the spin attack. Fast bowlers Arshdeep Singh, Prasidh Krishna, and Harshit Rana add pace options, with Dhruv Jurel included as a backup wicketkeeper.
The series begins on November 30 in Ranchi, followed by matches on December 3 in Raipur and December 6 in Visakhapatnam.
Honorary Secretary Devajit Saikia confirmed the announcement, highlighting India’s balanced mix of experience and youth as they prepare for the South Africa challenge.
