Reality TV personality Baseer Ali, who was recently evicted from Bigg Boss 19, has sparked a major controversy after calling his eviction “unfair.” The actor and model, known for his stint in Kundali Bhagya, expressed disappointment over the makers’ decision and claimed that the voting results did not reflect his actual popularity.
During his post-eviction interaction with the media, Baseer said in Hindi, “The reason they gave—that I was evicted because of low votes—is pure nonsense. When I came out and checked my social media, the numbers spoke for themselves. The same week I won ‘Boss of the Week’ and ‘Mantri of the Week,’ I got evicted. How is that possible?”
He further revealed that his Instagram stories received over 2 million views, suggesting that audience support was in his favour. “I don’t think anyone else has that kind of reach. These are the same people who were voting for me,” he added.
Baseer Claims Amaal Mallik Got ‘Extra Help’ from Bigg Boss
In an interview with Zoom, Baseer Ali also made a bold claim that Amaal Mallik was being “helped off-camera” by the Bigg Boss makers. According to him, Amaal was called into the confession room, where Bigg Boss advised him to find someone inside the house who could guide and control him emotionally.
“Amaal told me that Bigg Boss asked him to find someone who could help him stay calm and avoid going below the belt. He said, ‘Bigg Boss told me this, so I took your name,’” Baseer shared.
Baseer also revealed that emotional moments between him and Amaal were edited out from the show. “Amaal bhai cried for me, but that part was never shown,” he said.

Soon after the eviction episode aired, fans flooded social media with the hashtag #BringBackBaseer, demanding his return to the show. Many accused the makers of manipulating votes and favouring specific contestants.
One fan wrote, “Baseer was one of the most genuine players. His eviction makes no sense!” Another added, “The show isn’t the same without him. Bring him back!”
