Global Covid-19 Caseload Crosses 175.5 Million Mark

Washington: The overall global Covid-19 caseload has topped 175.5 million, while the deaths have surged to more than 3.79 million, according to Johns Hopkins University.

In its latest update on Sunday morning, the University’s Center for Systems Science and Engineering (CSSE) revealed that the current global caseload and death toll stood at 175,567,564 and 3,791,126, respectively.

The US continues to be the worst-hit country with the world’s highest number of cases and deaths at 33,457,378 and 599,664, respectively, according to the CSSE.
