A harrowing incident unfolded on National Highway 16 near Chhatabar in Bhadrak, as a collision between a container truck and a passenger bus left over 10 pilgrims injured.
The pilgrims were en route when their bus made a stop to change a tire. The stationary bus was struck from behind by a speeding container truck, resulting in serious injuries to more than 10 passengers on board.
Emergency response teams swiftly transported the injured to the Bhandaripokhari Community Health Center. Due to the severity of their injuries, they were later shifted to the Bhadrak District Headquarters Hospital for advanced medical treatment.
