Vedanta Aluminium hosted a free multispecialty health camp at Gunpur village in Kalahandi, benefitting over 200 individuals from 26 nearby villages.
The camp provided essential healthcare services, including specialist consultations in orthopaedics, obstetrics, paediatrics, dermatology, and tuberculosis care, along with free medications. Dr. Pradosh Kumar Panda, Block Public Health Officer, inaugurated the event alongside local healthcare professionals, marking a collaborative effort to enhance access to healthcare in remote areas.
Rajiv Kumar, CEO of Vedanta Aluminium, emphasised the company’s commitment to improving rural healthcare access. To date, Vedanta has organised over 35 health camps in Rayagada and Kalahandi, alongside specialised eye camps and partnerships with government health programs, demonstrating a holistic approach to rural health services.
