Vedanta Aluminium, India’s leading aluminium producer, has taken a significant step toward enhancing grassroots education by hosting a Block Level one-day teachers’ orientation program in collaboration with the Block Education Department at Mahima Degree College, Bijapali. The initiative, designed to elevate teaching standards and foster educational excellence, brought together over 650 elementary teachers from Lakhanpur block in Odisha.
The program featured expert-led sessions focusing on critical areas such as lesson planning, classroom management, creating teaching-learning materials, disaster preparedness, first-aid, and integrating technology into classrooms. Teachers engaged in hands-on training, interactive discussions, and received certificates for their participation. Distinguished guests, including Sashmita Sahu, Joint Director, OSEPA, and Amulya Kumar Padhan, Regional Director, DHSE, Sambalpur, graced the event, highlighting its significance for rural education.
