The first night of the 2025 Creative Arts Emmy Awards celebrated excellence in television craft and behind-the-scenes artistry, with Apple TV+’s The Studio emerging as the biggest winner with nine trophies.
HBO’s crime drama The Penguin followed closely with eight wins, dominating makeup, hairstyling, and costume categories. Meanwhile, Apple TV+’s Severance secured six awards, including Production Design for a Narrative Contemporary Program, while Netflix’s acclaimed animated series Arcane bagged four awards, including Outstanding Animated Program.
The event took place at the Peacock Theater in downtown Los Angeles and was attended by some of television’s biggest stars, including Bryan Cranston (The Studio), Shawn Hatosy (The Pitt), and Julianne Nicholson (Hacks), who were among the night’s winners.
