The President of the Hindol Bar Association was reportedly stabbed near Godisahi, close to Bedapada, under the jurisdiction of Balimi Police Station in Dhenkanal district.
The motive behind the assault remains unknown, and the assailant is currently on the run.
Eyewitnesses and local sources reported that the president was critically injured in the attack and has been shifted to a private hospital in Bhubaneswar for advanced medical care. Police have launched a manhunt to trace the culprit and investigate the circumstances surrounding the attack.
