J&K: Two terrorists were killed in an anti-infiltration operation by the security forces on Thursday along the Line of Control (LoC) in the Keran sector of Jammu and Kashmir’s Kupwara district, according to Indian Army.
Earlier today, two army jawans were injured in an encounter in J&K’s Doda district.
Initial medical care was provided at the government hospital in Doda, and the individuals are now being airlifted to the army hospital via an army helicopter.
On Tuesday, four army personnel, including an officer, lost their lives in a clash with heavily armed terrorists in the Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir. This incident marked the third significant engagement between security forces and terrorists in the Doda district forests within the last three weeks.
The armed forces remain on high alert due to an increase in terrorist activities in the Jammu region recently.
