Madhya Pradesh: In a tragic incident that occurred during a sand mining operation in Jabalpur district, Madhya Pradesh, three individuals, including a woman and her son were killed, according to the police report.
The event unfolded on the river bank of the village Katra Ramkhiriya, as reported by Additional Superintendent of Police, Suryakant Sharma.
Some people in the village were extracting sand for a local temple construction project when a large pile of sand unexpectedly collapsed onto them. Among the victims were Munni Bai (50), her son Mukesh (35) and another villager, Rajkumar Khatik (25 while three other individuals sustained injuries and are currently receiving medical treatment.
The police have recorded this incident as a case of accidental death and are conducting further investigations, as stated by Sharma.
