Bhubaneswar: Low pressure area in Bay of Bengal is likely to intensify into a depression tomorrow however not much impact is expected on Odisha.
Reports say that, low pressure is forming over the Bay of Bengal. It will move Northeastward and become centered over central Bay of Bengal by tomorrow morning depression is likely said the weather department.
The low pressure will reach North-East and North-West Bay of Bengal by the evening of May 25. As a result, the sea will be turbulent. For this, fishermen are not allowed to venture into the sea. The direct impact of the depression will not be experienced in Odisha.
Then, with the change of wind direction, more moisture will come from the Bay of Bengal. On May 25 and May 26, there is possibility of light to moderate rain in many places of North Odisha. Heavy rain may occur at some places in Balasore and Bhadrak. Day time temperature however is likely to increase by two to three degrees Celsius in the next two days.
