Riyadh: In a significant display of India’s growing prowess in defense technology and strategic diplomacy, Union Minister of State for Defence & Tourism Ajay Bhatt, India’s ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Dr Suhel Ajaz Khan, and Additional Secretary Anurag Bajpai were cordially received at the BrahMos Pavilion during the ongoing World Defense Show 2024 in Riyadh.
The distinguished delegation was hosted by Dr Sanjeev Kumar Joshi and Praveen Pathak, Director (Marketing, Promotion, & Export) at BrahMos, signifying a critical milestone in India’s defense export initiatives.
India’s shift in defense export policy, specifically concerning the BrahMos Cruise missile, highlights a strategic shift in India’s defense diplomacy. The country is not just showcasing its defense capabilities but is also actively promoting defense cooperation, marking a significant leap in its geopolitical strategy.

To improve regional security and stability, India has changed the direction of its defense export strategy by offering BrahMos Cruise missiles to several neighbouring countries.
