India’s badminton icon, P.V. Sindhu, bowed out of the Indonesia Open 2025 after a tough three-game battle against Thailand’s Pornpawee Chochuwong. Despite a strong start, Sindhu struggled to keep momentum, ultimately losing the decider 21-18.
In the women’s doubles category, Treesa Jolly and Gayatri Gopichand were unable to progress past the second round, falling to the Japanese duo Yuki Fukushima and Mayu Matsumoto. The Indian pair fought hard but succumbed in straight games, 13-21, 22-24.
